Tracy Schneewind - Teaching & Learning Department

Tracey Schneewind
Teaching & Learning Department

Tracey does everything by going above and beyond. Her work with READY! for Kindergarten has taken the program to another level. Her attention to detail, passion to do all things well and her servant's heart. - it all means that we reach more children and families long before they step into their first classroom. But when they take those steps they're better prepared because of the time and effort their parents have spent with them.

Tracy's excellence reaches beyond the borders of SKSD as she's also helped facilitate a lot of improvements at the national offices of READY! for Kindergarten. She is well respected and admired and we are blessed to have her. I am blessed to have her.

Tracy, thank you. Your consistent expectations of excellency for yourself has made me better. It's made our program better. Which means children and families are better because of your extraordinary gifts and effort.

She takes a problem and finds a solution by reaching out, soliciting supports, and being willing to dive in and get things done. This has been a guiding light as the state grows in expectations from us. She is willing to help build new systems with smiles and total enthusiasm.

Ken builds great relationships with students and staff. He is incredibly helpful to everyone. Ken always thinks about others before himself. He steps up to help others like when he stays late to help clean up the gym after games/practices. He also ensures all the kids get picked up safely before he leaves. You can always count on Ken to tell a funny story.

He's always one of the first to volunteer for community projects at Manchester! Shane and his wife created the school song for Manchester, and they made a video together during the pandemic shutdown to help the whole school learn it. Shane is a true example of going above and beyond for students!
