Our SK student counselors are a highlight of our camp experience, for both the students and teachers. The counselors this year not only volunteered a week of their time, but they also put in the effort to connect with each individual student. Thank you for making the campers feel valued, heard and loved. YOU are living the SK way every day and we are so proud of the example that you set for our young students

Vanessa Wallis
Vanessa was asked to complete an evaluation for communication services with a student at a neighboring middle school. Without hesitation she jumped in with the 'how can I help' attitude. The timeline was short and complicated by snow days. She took extra time to come and meet the family prior to working with the student. I believe her compassion and efforts helped the family and student feel heard and cared for. Thank you Vanessa for knowing and showing your purpose in South Kitsap!
