Elisa Kahuhu

Elisa has gone above and beyond working in the Social Communications group and her work as a one-on-one aide. She is always smiling and patient as she helps to give her student the best day possible, even doubling as a model for all the costumes he creates.

Denise Katzmann

Denise has gone out of her way to mentor and guide a student who is experiencing a lot of changes in her world. Denise has graciously stepped up to be an extra source of support in the lunchroom and even in the classroom when she hears the student struggling. She provides a safe place for the student to talk and helps the student regulate their big emotions. Thanks for looking out for our little shark!

It is with great enthusiasm that I nominate Pi'Ilani Wiseman for the SK Way Award, under the pillar of Love People. Pi'Ilani is the embodiment of what it means to love and serve others through steadfast dedication, compassion, and deep-rooted care for the South Kitsap community. As a volunteer, Pi'Ilani consistently shows up with warmth and positivity, creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels seen and valued. Her presence is more than helpful—it's transformational.
