This department provides information and services to parents, community members, staff and students. We strive to provide our stakeholders the news they need and want about our district. The communications department takes pride in connecting our schools to the community. We believe that timely, incisive information helps students, parents and staff maximize their ability to promote student learning.


Redesigned in 2017, the district website is intended to provide up-to-date information on school news and events. It includes photos, an electronic calendar and contact information.

Mobile App

The district mobile app is a way for our stakeholders to get information whenever and wherever they are available. It is a one stop shop for all social media streams, latest news, and student grade information. The app is available for free download in the Google Play Store and in the Apple Store.

Social Media

To better communicate with families and members of the community, the district has adopted several social media platforms. You can find recent news and information on Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo and YouTube.


The district photo calendar is published each summer for the upcoming school year. Filled with lively photos, the calendar lists school holidays and events, as well as district policy information. There is also an electronic district-wide calendar on the website that may be filtered by location and activity.

Other publications

The communications department also publishes a quarterly community mailer, Annual Report, and multiple newspaper inserts, promotional materials for job fairs, and brochures for district programs.
