Dear South Kitsap Families,

I am honored to serve as superintendent of this great district. Under the leadership of your School Board and with the support of staff, families, and the community, South Kitsap School District will continue to follow the vision of nurturing growth, inspiring achievement, and building community. 

We will honor the past and embrace the future as we continue to meet the needs of our students. There is a lot to be proud of here and the unique opportunities that are available to our students are part of what makes South Kitsap such a special place.

During my time in South Kitsap, I’ve been impressed with the caring and compassionate staff working in all areas of the District. I believe people are the #1 resource we have, and if we take care of the staff, they will provide the best educational experience for every student every day. We have a culture centered around the SK Way with 5 core values: Love People, Know Your Purpose, Get Better Every Day, Think Big, and Attitude of Gratitude. Our Top 5 Priority Plan guides our work over with focus on academics, stewardship, student and staff wellness, safety, and community partnerships.

There are exciting things on the horizon and I’m confident South Kitsap will be one of the top five school districts in the state. We will achieve success in all areas through a culture built on valuing people and creating the conditions for success.
