Benefit Information

School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB)

SEBB offers healthcare and other benefits (including medical, dental vision, life insurance and long term disability) for eligible WA State school employees. *Please note all benefit eligible employees (those anticipated to work 630 hours between Sep 1 and Aug 31 or who during the course of the school year reach 630 hours worked) are required to enroll in SEBB benefits.  If you do not enroll or waive SEBB medical, you will be enrolled by default as a single subscriber in a medical, dental, and vision plan and basic life, basic accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) and employee-paid long term disability insurance as prescribed by SEBB, resulting in a monthly out-of-pocket cost of $69.

A variety of medical plans are available dependent on your county of residence or work.  Additional benefits are available for you to elect (employee-paid benefits) including supplemental life, AD&D and long-term disability insurance, medical flexible spending arrangement (FSA) and Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP).
