Health Curriculum Committee

A representative group of staff and parents will review and select Sexual Education, HIV/AIDS, and K-8 Health Curriculum to implement in the 2022-2023 school year. The group will also develop a professional development plan for consistent implementation of the recommended curriculum. The committee is comprised of the following:

Elementary

• Grade level Teachers, Nurse, Instructional Specialist
• At least three parents

Secondary

• Grade level Teachers, Nurse, Instructional Specialist
• At least four parents

K-12

• District  PE/Health Coordinator
• Special Education Representative
• Executive Director of Teaching & Learning
• Principal
• Counselor

Consultant
