The South Kitsap Public Education Community Awards recognize those individuals, who through their accomplishments, have brought a measure of distinction and pride to our schools and our community. By celebrating these remarkable former students, community members and organizations, we are strengthening the bonds within South Kitsap and highlighting the powerful role education plays in shaping a brighter future for all. 

We invite South Kitsap Alumni, as well as members of our community, to submit nominations. The recipients will be recognized at the South Kitsap Public Education Foundation Spring Fundraiser Event. There are four categories for recognition:

• SK Community Impact Award: 
  Recognizing individuals whose voluntary service has significantly enhanced the quality of life in their community, while fostering a strong partnership with SK Schools to support student success and community vitality. Recipients exemplify selflessness and a deep commitment to building a thriving, interconnected community where SK schools, business and residents work together for a brighter future.
   
• SK Distinguished Alumni Award: 
  Celebrating an SK alumnus whose leadership journey began at South Kitsap Schools. This award celebrates those who, through their academic, extracurricular, and community involvement, have developed into trailblazers and changemakers in their community or professional field. Their leadership continues to inspire others and reflects the enduring impact of the education and experiences that shaped them at South Kitsap High Schools.
   
• SK Legacy Maker Award: 
  Honoring individuals whose unwavering support for the South Kitsap School District has left an enduring legacy. Through their generosity of time, talent, and treasure, recipients have made a transformative impact on the district, advancing opportunities for students and the broader community.
   
• SK Educational Leadership Award:
  Recognizing South Kitsap Schools’ educators, administrators, and coaches who demonstrate extraordinary dedication, innovation, and impact in shaping the lives of students. Recipients are distinguished by their ability to inspire curiosity, foster achievement, and embody the spirit of educational excellence that defines SK Schools.
