Welcome incoming Principal Brad Thew to South Colby

We are pleased to share that Brad Thew has accepted the principal position at South Colby Elementary. 

Mr. Thew currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Sidney Glen Elementary. He is a relational leader with a strong background in instruction, behavior support, and staff development. He understands the importance of building a positive school culture and creating a sense of belonging for students, staff, and families.

Prior to joining the South Kitsap School District, Mr. Thew served in the Highline School District, where he gained additional experience supporting students, staff, and school communities.

Mr. Thew will remain in his current role through the end of this school year. During the spring, he will work closely with current South Colby Principal Anna Munson to support a thoughtful transition and ensure continuity for the school community.
