Scott Yingling Named Assistant Principal at South Kitsap High School

South Kitsap School District is proud to welcome Scott Yingling back to our community in a new leadership role as Assistant Principal at South Kitsap High School.

Mr. Yingling is a familiar face in South Kitsap. He previously served as a Teacher and Dean here, and his return reflects his deep connection to the district where his educational career began. His commitment to students, staff, and public education has been evident throughout his career.

Since his time in South Kitsap, Mr. Yingling has gained valuable leadership experience in other districts—serving as an Associate Principal in Battleground, an Assistant Principal in Peninsula School District, and most recently as the Principal at Harbor Ridge Middle School. In each of these roles, he has focused on:

• Building a strong and inclusive school culture
• Supporting academic achievement for all students
• Developing positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Mr. Yingling’s return to South Kitsap is a homecoming rooted in passion and purpose. We are excited to welcome him back and are confident he will make a positive and lasting impact in this new role.
