May 2025 SKWay Awards - Thank you for living the SKWay
Cynthia Nunley
Cynthia goes above and beyond helping her students. She is kind, caring, compassionate and empathetic. She fully wraps around all of her students. When some of her students need some extra love and support, Cynthia is there to provide them with it. I appreciate and value her as a teacher and as a person. Thank you Cynthia, South Kitsap is so lucky to have you!.
LOVE PEOPLE
Award Winner: Cynthia Nunley, OSS at SKHS
Nominated by: Michelle McGuirk
Jennifer Mullen
Jennifer began as a day to day substitute at Sedgwick and it turned into a long term sub position. Throughout she met with building and district staff to bring in curriculum, develop routines, form relationships with students and staff, and increase the rigor to an appropriate level. Upon the classroom teacher's return she developed lesson plans for the upcoming weeks and loaded materials into the Google Classroom. She went far beyond the expectations of her initial substitute role. Thanks!
GET BETTER EVERYDAY
