Facility Planning Committee

The South Kitsap School Board called for the formation of the committee to consider, develop, and recommend long-term plans for the physical facilities in South Kitsap School District.

The committee of 11 community members held 25 meetings and spent more than 15 months to compile a thorough report for the Board's consideration. The committee chair presented the information at the April 20, 2022 School Board Meeting. The group recommended priorities for addressing deferred maintenance and planned upgrades to District facilities with benchmarks at five years, ten years, twenty-five years, and beyond.
