The multi-faceted network is overseen by the assistant director, with each of the three network support specialists having the core responsibility of a suite of network services including:
- Physical connectivity (switches, routers, wireless access points, wiring)
- Network servers
- Service availability
- Telephony (local and long distance, E911, handsets, voicemail, fax, alarm lines)
- Network security (firewall, anti-spam, anti-virus, patching)
- Vendor coordination and management
- Synchronization with cloud services (Google, Office365)
Our network services team also proactively protects district assets and services from increasingly malicious and complex cyber-threats.
Desktop Support Services
Our five IT support specialists provide end-user support for hardware, software operations, printers, and peripherals. Our ITSS’s travel between schools to troubleshoot issues and proactively update and replace aged equipment. To ensure equity, each classroom has standard technology:

Data Services
Anchored by our student information system (Skyward), our data team is responsible for overseeing the input, processing, reporting, and output of student and staff data for instructional and state reporting purposes. These critical functions drive enrollment funding and program audits, insure timely and accurate data for schools and parents, and help district leadership make well-informed data decisions.

Purchasing Standards
Periodic review, recommendation and publication of technology standards to insure we are able to support technology purchased in the district. Please contact Purchasing for the proper ordering procedures.
Telecommunications/Telephone Services
Maintenance of the district’s state-of-the-art 1100+ station telephone system, including handset programming, voicemail configuration and ongoing system monitoring.
Training Lab
